The fields differ between forms. Fields marked as required are necessary to handle that enquiry through the form; you cannot submit that form without them. You can also contact us directly.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A commissioned project may require the relevant contact, address, project, communication, quotation and administration records. Do not include a citizen service number, identity-document copy, medical information or other sensitive data in a free-text field without a specific need.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our technical service providers receive information needed to deliver and protect website pages and files, such as your IP address, browser information and details of the requested page.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"purposes\" class=\"wp-block-group ul-section is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why do we use it, and on what basis?<\/h2>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A privacy notice explains data use. Sending a project enquiry does not provide blanket consent for other purposes, such as separate advertising campaigns.<\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n<li>Preparing and handling a conversation, enquiry or quotation you requested: taking steps at your request before a possible contract.<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Carrying out an agreed project and the related communication: performing the contract.<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Keeping required project or financial administration: meeting the applicable legal obligation.<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Operating the website and forms, preventing misuse and spam, and handling legal claims where necessary: our legitimate interests in safe services and protecting our rights, balanced against your privacy interests.<\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We use optional Noon insights only with your consent, which you can withdraw in the assistant.<\/p>\n\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"forms\" class=\"wp-block-group ul-section is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Contact forms and spam protection<\/h2>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our website uses WordPress.com\/Jetpack Forms. A submitted enquiry is processed and stored through the website and emailed to the configured address info@unitn.nl. Akismet helps check for spam. Automattic may process the submitted form contents and technical information, such as IP address and browser information, for that check.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The spam protection can also use technical signals about form completion, such as completion time and the timing of keyboard, mouse and touch interactions. Automattic can process technical visitor data such as IP address, browser information, visited and referring URLs, time, language and country. If you are logged in to WordPress.com, account information may also be involved.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The website also loads Bilmur to measure loading times and other technical performance. The home page contains an embedded Google map of our address. Loading that map connects your browser directly to Google, which receives technical data including your IP address. These features load automatically in the current website version.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"ul-inline-links wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/jetpack.com\/support\/jetpack-stats\/\">Jetpack Stats privacy information<\/a> \u00b7 <a href=\"https:\/\/policies.google.com\/privacy?hl=en\">Google privacy policy<\/a><\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"planner\" class=\"wp-block-group ul-section is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The renovation planner<\/h2>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The planner builds a brief in your own browser. When you generate the brief, it saves the text under unitn-renovation-brief in sessionStorage. This is temporary storage for that browser session or tab; session restoration may depend on your browser settings.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You choose whether to copy the text, download a text file or bring it into the contact page. Importing it only fills the message field. It does not submit an enquiry: review the contents and submit the contact form yourself if you wish. The custom planner does not automatically send your entered choices to UNIT N as a project enquiry.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"noon\" class=\"wp-block-group ul-section is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Noon: UNIT N&#8217;s knowledge assistant<\/h2>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Noon is an automated search aid for information publicly published on the UNIT N website. The current version does not send your questions to an external chatbot service. It shows matching website excerpts and source links. This information is not a personal quotation or confirmation of your project&#8217;s feasibility, price or schedule.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When you submit a question, our website and hosting environment process it and a limited part of your recent conversation to find relevant website information. The Noon plugin does not save conversation transcripts or free-text questions in its database. The visible conversation stays in the memory of the open browser tab. You can remove it with \u2018Clear conversation\u2019. It is also cleared after thirty minutes of conversation inactivity when your browser runs the expiry timer. Browsers may delay timers in inactive tabs. Noon does not store the conversation in cookies, localStorage or sessionStorage. Please leave out personal or sensitive information unless it is necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For security, Noon uses a temporary signed session token in your tab&#8217;s memory. This token expires after one hour. The server also limits request volume using temporary salted digests derived from the connection address and session. The raw IP address is not stored in this Noon request-limit table. Rate-limit windows last no more than one hour; expired counters are removed by the subsequent hourly WordPress cleanup task. WordPress tasks may run late when the website receives few requests. This technical protection is separate from optional insights. Our hosting and existing technical providers may process their own connection and security logs, as explained elsewhere in this notice.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"noon-insights\" class=\"wp-block-group ul-section is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Optional Noon insights<\/h2>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Only when the feature is enabled and you choose \u2018Allow optional insights\u2019, Noon counts page visits, broad active reading time, scroll thresholds reached, assistant opens, question and answer events, general question topics, source clicks, contact clicks, submitted helpfulness feedback and technical error events. You can use Noon without these statistics. We use the counts to improve website information and contact routes.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Noon analytics table contains only totals by calendar day, public page, fixed event, broad topic and, where relevant, a fixed time, scroll or feedback band. It contains no individual visitor profiles, conversation text, form contents, names, contact details, raw IP addresses, device fingerprints or URL query parameters. These statistics do not identify individual customers or connect their visits to a sale or commissioned project.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Open Noon and choose \u2018Privacy &amp; insights\u2019 to change your choice or turn insights off. Turning them off stops new optional measurements; already combined counts cannot be linked back to you or removed individually from those totals. Your preference is stored in your own browser and reused for no more than 180 days. An expired record is removed the next time the website opens. You can also clear website storage yourself through your browser. A supported browser privacy or do-not-track signal keeps optional insights off by default.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"noon-retention\" class=\"wp-block-group ul-section is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Retention and monthly reports<\/h2>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The active Noon database retains daily totals and private monthly reports for the current calendar month and the fourteen completed calendar months before it. Older records are removed by the daily WordPress cleanup task, which may run late if the website is not invoked. Reports contain only combined counts and suggested checks based on them. They are available only to authorised website administrators. When monthly reporting is enabled, a report about the preceding calendar month is emailed to the configured administrator address. Email copies and hosting backups follow the retention policies of those separate environments. Deactivating the plugin also stops cleanup tasks; existing records remain until an administrator deletes them or reactivates the plugin.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your Noon choice applies only to optional Noon insights. It does not control the other services used by this website. Use the contact details and explanation elsewhere in this privacy notice for questions or to exercise your privacy rights.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"recipients\" class=\"wp-block-group ul-section is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who receives data?<\/h2>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Authorised people handling your enquiry or project can use the data they need for that work. We use services in Automattic\u2019s WordPress.com\/Jetpack\/Akismet environment for the website, technical delivery, forms and spam protection. Images and other website files may also be delivered through the displayed WordPress.com and Squarespace networks.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Where a project needs an implementing contractor, adviser or administration service, only information relevant to that work is shared. We may also need to provide information when the law requires it.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Links to services such as Instagram, WhatsApp or an external map take you to another service. Its provider determines how data are used there.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"international-processing\" class=\"wp-block-group ul-section is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">International processing<\/h2>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The technical services used by this website operate internationally. Data may therefore be processed or accessed outside the European Economic Area, including within Automattic\u2019s international organisation. Automattic describes international processing and the contractual measures it identifies in its general privacy policy.
