Small tiles with visible grout create a different rhythm from large tiles with fewer joints. Include the grout colour in your decision: it affects the overall look and where cooking marks may show.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A tiled backsplash needs a suitably prepared substrate, appropriate grout and carefully finished junctions. Both the tile surface and the joints affect everyday care. Brushed steel can coordinate with appliances and give the kitchen a professional feel. Reflections, fingerprints and signs of use can remain visible on a large panel.
